The R40 amplifier makes setting up a routine EEG study quick and easy
The R40 amplifier is designed for the busy EEG clinic; for technologists, and patients. With the R40 amplifier, EEG professionals can focus on, and spend time with, their patients. They can prepare them for routine EEG studies more quickly and efficiently.
The R40’s inbuilt “D-type” connector gives EEG technologists the choice of using touchproof electrodes or e-caps. It is clearly laid out to show the full international 10-20 system. This includes extended inputs (FT7-FT8-TP7-TP8). Impedance check can be activated directly from the amplifier with pass / fail indicators adjacent to each electrode input, thus allowing the technologist to make any necessary electrode adjustments on the fly. Impedance check level can also be changed from the amplifier. This avoids the need to leave the patient to make adjustments on the computer.
The high technical specification of the R40 amplifier ensures only the best quality EEG signals are recorded.
R40 amplifiers can be set up to save EEG data to a micro-SD card without the need to record to a PC.
The R40 amplifier is a key component of our Clinical Cart System, built for hospital EEG.
